About Us:

Cambodia Project

CAZ Foundation was founded after the President and Founder, Natasha Arnpriester, traveled to Cambodia in December of 2005. Not knowing what to expect, and with no thoughts of becoming so attached to Cambodia , she meet many wonderful people who shared with her their life experiences and needs. Seeing how different life was, in a least developed country, it seemed evident that assistance was in order. After viewing the disparities between Cambodia and the industrialized world, something more needed to been done to help Cambodia . And as a result, CAZ Foundation was born.

Cambodia is filled with beautiful nature and amazing remnants of past Angkor kingdoms. However, not only does Cambodia offer wonderful scenery, its people are even more beautiful. They are genuine, kind-hearted, and welcoming. Despite the long time hardships of corruption and genocide, Cambodians remain strong. Unfortunately, the ways of a saddening past has still to be erased. The living conditions for most are far from favorable and the needs are great. Thus, CAZ Foundation was established as a way to, not completely fix all the country’s problems, but to help as much as it could to change lives.

Zambia Project

CAZ Foundation in its entirety was originally aimed solely at the Southeast Asian region. Prior to being renamed CAZ Foundation, the foundation was known as Project SEA . However, a miraculous incident happened and a new project was added to Hope for CAZ.

Natasha, CAZ Founder:

“I attended a convention in Texas with my father in July of 2006. I was studying in the hotel room when my father came in and told me a heart-wrenching story about a man name Joseph. As my dad was walking through the hotel hallway he noticed a man crying. This man, Joseph, asked my father if he would pray with him. He did. Afterwards, Joseph told my father that he had just received word from his wife that two of the girls in his orphanage had died due to HIV/AIDS related causes. Joseph runs an orphanage dedicated to helping children who are homeless and victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. When my dad told me this, I knew Joseph was going to need help. I asked my dad if I could meet Joseph, and the next day I did. Joseph told me that before he came to the America , someone had promised him that if he came to the United States they could get him on the Oprah Show. So Joseph sold his car and bought a ticket from Zambia to the USA . Thinking that this would be the answer to solving all the problems at the orphanage, Joseph came. His ticket cost as much as it would take to feed his orphanage for a month. When Joseph arrived, the man who promised him the Oprah Show was nowhere to be contacted. Joseph felt so depressed because not only was he away when these two girls died, he had just wasted a few thousand dollars on a plane ticket. This story touched my heart in a way that compelled me to help. And out of this the Zambia Project was born.”
